Pastor Terry Holmes, Sr.

“Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures,” (James 1:18,KJV).

Pastor Terry Holmes, Sr. is a native of Memphis, Tennessee where he both accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He grew up in a faith-oriented family, in which his mother guided spiritually him and his nine siblings of to seek a life of righteousness, integrity and self-discipline. Pastor Terry received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2002. He has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Sonya Holmes; they have been married for Thirty-Two blessed years and proud parents of six children.

In August 2001, he was ordained as a minister, while serving in the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia, under the watch care of Bishop Lauretta Jones, Pastor of St. Andrews Church. In November 2004, Pastor Terry accepted his call as an Elder of the Gospel serving under the Apostolic covering of Bishop Lauretta’s son, Apostle Albert A. Jones Sr., Pastor of Revelation International Ministries. He is a 2015 graduate of Regent University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Biblical and Theological Studies and a Associate of Art with a concentration in Christian Studies.

Since October 2012, he has served as the Senior Pastor of The Prophetic Word of Truth Ministries located in Southaven, Mississippi. God has anointed him with a word of knowledge to be a light of truth in the gross darkness of this world in such a time as this. He refers to his ministry as the Truth Chamber, where the Truth makes us free from the domination of sin. At P.W.O.T, we are led by God’s Spirit, His Person, His Presence, and His Power, and His loving conviction that transforms and transitions us in our God given purpose, gracefully to our destiny through Christ.
